Le régime keto ou cétogène est adopté par de nombreux patients avec un diagnostic de cancer, mais est-il efficace ? Peut-il être suivi sans risque ? Voici un état des lieux à partir des dernières données scientifiques.

Pourquoi un régime cétogène ?

A la suite des observations d’Otto Warburg sur l’utilisation du glucose par de nombreuses cellules cancéreuses et sa fermentation lactique, les chercheurs ont formulé l’hypothèse qu’un régime keto ou cétogène, pauvre en glucides, pourrait limiter le flux de glucose à destination...
